Tenterden Day Centre currently has around 100 members who attend the Centre for between one and five days per week.

The Day Centre offers you:-
Practical help, support and advice
Assistance with transport to/from the centre if required
Extremely delicious home cooked meals
Chiropody and foot care clinics
Hearing aid clinics
Arts and crafts
Board games and card games
Seated exercise including boccia (bowls) and yoga
Information, advice and advocacy service
There is also a charity shop which is open Mon to Fri, 10am – 2.30pm.
Drop in lunch-only service available; please contact us before 10:30am to book.
Tenterden Day Centre has an open referral policy and is keen to encourage family referrals, self-referrals or any type of other referral. Doctors and care workers can refer patients/clients that could benefit from any of the services that we offer.
There are some basic criteria which need to be met, please contact us for an informal chat. We visit everyone who applies for a place to individually assess their needs so that we can make the Day Centre experience work for you.

Our services are currently part-subsidised by Kent County Council. Current charges for attending the Centre are:
2-course lunch and refreshments – £6.50
Daily membership fee – £4.00
Return minibus transport from outlying villages – £7.00
Return minibus transport from Tenterden & St Michael’s – £5.00
Laundry – £4.50
Bathing – from £12
Other services such as hairdressing, osteopathy and chiropody are provided by private practitioners whose own fees apply. These services are also open to non-members.
