The change is being made to better represent the range of services that the charity provides, both within the building and out in the local community. When the day centre was originally opened in 1980, it was just that; a day centre for frail older people. Now it provides day services to disabled as well as older people, and offers a whole host of other services and facilities for people of all ages, such as meals on wheels, chiropody, osteopathy, dementia services, minibus and meeting facilities hire.
The branding on our building, vehicles, literature and website will change gradually during the first quarter of 2018. Look out for our new sub-brands too which we will be profiling over the coming weeks.
